PPS washing instructions
It is sufficient to clean your vehicle treated with PPS once or twice a month. The dirt-repellent properties ensure that your vehicle stays clean for considerably longer. Avoid the car wash as much as possible, if you choose to do so, use a car wash with textile cloths instead of brushes because brushes can affect the PPS layer. Do not use a washing program with hotwax, the cheapest washing program is sufficient. You can of course also contact your car cleaning company to have the vehicle thoroughly cleaned and the PPS layer checked.
Wash yourself? use a ph-neutral shampoo like the special PPS shampoo. 3 caps of this shampoo in a bucket of warm water are sufficient for cleaning. If the rims are also treated with PPS, do not use a rim cleaner. Proceed as follows when washing:
- Spray the vehicle with a garden hose or high-pressure cleaner
- Fill 2 buckets with warm water and put the shampoo in one of the buckets and use the 2nd bucket to wash the sponge or wash mitt each time.
- With the sponge, wash the vehicle in parts from top to bottom and clean the sponge in the bucket in the meantime without shampoo.
- After cleaning, spray the shampoo off the vehicle
- Dry the vehicle with a chamois or microfibre cloth
Your vehicle is like new again!
